Frankie Hagan is a lindy hop and balboa instructor, a certified professional ballroom dance instructor, and a member of the NDTA (National Dance Teacher’s Association), the World Swing Dance Council, the Triangle Swing Dance Society and is familiar with the DVIDA (DanceVision) and Arthur Murray syllabi. Frankie has more than a decade worth of experience as a professional dancer. Frankie Hagan and former dance partner Brooke Katz appear as swing dancers in the motion picture “The Notebook.”
Frankie has previously been an award winning house instructor and deejay for the legendary JB Pivot’s Beach Club, in addition to providing quality dance instruction and entertainment to the Charleston, South Carolina area for several years. As a Raleigh, North Carolina native, Frankie splits his time between being a real estate broker for Fonville Morisey and a professional deejay and emcee. He has been previously associated with local ballroom studios, but now teaches his private lessons at The Premier Dance Studio in Cary, NC or the Taylor Academy of Dance in Wake Forest, NC.
Frankie is active in the Raleigh, NC Lindy Hop and Balboa community, and is a professional deejay and dance specialist available through Island Sound DJ’s To Go. Frankie Hagan is a contributing writer for Retrospective Magazine.
